Experience the colour, anticipation and optimism surrounding the beginning of a new year.
Open a gentle conversation about heritage, friendship and the many ways families celebrate together.
It’s a fantastic ‘window and mirror’ book-Persian kids see their lives reflected, and everyone else gets a vibrant intro to Nowruz. The ‘perfect isn’t necessary’ theme is a low-key lesson in managing anxiety and perfectionism. The focus on inclusion makes it a natural fit for classroom read-alouds or community events. It uses sensory details (food, stories, spring symbols) that keep young kids engaged during story time.
