First Point Press is the author imprint under which the books and related works featured on this website are published. References to “First Point Press,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of this website acting under the First Point Press name.
Terms of Use
These Terms apply to firstpoint-press.com and its related webpages (the “Site”). The Site provides information about First Point Press books, authorship, Persian culture and traditions, events, reviews, awards, educational and literary materials, and related activities. Although books featured on the Site may be intended for children, the Site itself is intended primarily for adults, including parents, caregivers, educators, librarians, booksellers, reviewers, journalists, and other adult visitors.
Copyright and Intellectual Property
Except where expressly identified as third-party material, the original books and original Site content featured under the First Point Press name—including text, stories, characters, illustrations, artwork, cover designs, photographs, graphics, logos, branding, videos, audio, translations, adaptations, educational materials, promotional materials, downloads, and page designs—are owned or controlled by the applicable rights owner and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party names, marks, quotations, reviews, award names or seals, retailer marks, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.
Access to the Site does not transfer ownership of any content or grant an implied license beyond the limited permission necessary to view and use the Site for lawful personal and noncommercial purposes. All other rights are reserved.
Unless authorized in writing by the applicable rights holder or permitted by law, protected content may not be copied, republished, distributed, sold, licensed, translated, modified, adapted, used to create derivative works, incorporated into merchandise or commercial products, systematically extracted, or otherwise commercially exploited. AI Training, Data Mining and Automated Extraction
Except as expressly authorized by the applicable rights holder or permitted by applicable law, no permission or license is granted to systematically extract protected Site content for dataset creation, text or data mining, machine-learning or artificial-intelligence training or fine-tuning, model development, retrieval-corpus creation, synthetic-content generation, or comparable commercial computational use. Nothing in this provision restricts uses that applicable law affirmatively permits notwithstanding this notice.
False Association
First Point Press names, branding, book covers, characters, artwork, and other protected materials may not be used in a way that falsely or misleadingly suggests sponsorship, endorsement, authorization, affiliation, partnership, authorship, or approval by First Point Press or the applicable rights owner.
Permissions
For permission to reproduce or use protected First Point Press content beyond uses permitted by law, contact firstpointpress@gmail.com and identify the material, proposed use, medium, distribution, audience, and whether the use is commercial. Submission of a request does not grant permission; permission exists only when expressly granted. Nothing on this Site is intended to restrict fair use or other lawful uses.
Book Purchases and Third-Party Sellers
The Site may provide purchase links to IngramSpark/Lightning Source and other independent retailers or sellers. When you follow one of these links, you leave the First Point Press Site and complete your transaction with the third party identified at checkout. That third party’s current pricing, payment, tax, shipping, delivery, cancellation, return, refund, replacement, privacy, and customer-service terms apply to the transaction.
For “Buy Direct — Fulfilled by IngramSpark” links, checkout, payment processing, printing, and fulfillment are handled through the applicable IngramSpark/Lightning Source purchasing environment. First Point Press does not itself collect or process your payment-card information, billing information, or shipping address through that checkout. Order, payment, shipping, delivery, refund, replacement, or fulfillment questions should be directed through the procedures provided for that transaction.
Prices, formats, editions, availability, and territories may vary by seller and may change without notice. A link to a third-party seller or service does not by itself imply sponsorship, partnership, or endorsement.
Reviews, Testimonials and Awards
The Site may display selected professional reviews, customer-review excerpts, testimonials, media commentary, awards, honors, or recognition. Review excerpts may be shortened for space or readability but will not knowingly be edited in a way that materially changes the reviewer’s expressed opinion. Where a reviewer or endorser has a material connection that requires disclosure—such as compensation or a complimentary review copy—an appropriate disclosure will be provided. A complimentary copy does not require a positive review.
First Point Press does not knowingly create or use fabricated or materially false consumer reviews or testimonials, condition compensation on a particular positive or negative sentiment, or falsely present a fictitious or AI-generated person as an actual consumer, reviewer, expert, or independent endorser. Awards and recognition are described according to the recognition actually received; third-party award names, logos, and seals remain subject to their owners’ rights.

The Site may announce readings, author appearances, educational programs, virtual or in-person events, book news, cultural or seasonal messages, downloads, promotions, or other First Point Press activities. Details may change, and a particular event, promotion, download, or feature may be subject to additional terms or notices.
If you voluntarily sign up for First Point Press email updates, you may receive occasional communications about books, new releases, events, Persian cultural celebrations and seasonal greetings, and other First Point Press news or promotions. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe method provided in the message.
Community Photo and Content Submission
By submitting a photo or other content, you confirm that you are 18 or older, have the right and any necessary permissions to share it, and give First Point Press permission to use and repost it on our website, social media, email communications, and related promotional or community materials. Please do not submit photos of children unless you are their parent/legal guardian or otherwise have permission to provide the photo. See our Legal and Privacy pages for more information.
No Unsolicited Creative Submissions
First Point Press is an author imprint and does not accept unsolicited manuscripts, illustrations, story ideas, book proposals, pitches, or other creative submissions. Please do not send unsolicited creative material through the Site, email, or social media. Receipt of unsolicited material does not create a confidential, editorial, agency, publishing, representation, or other professional relationship.
Informational Content and Third-Party Links
Site content is provided for general literary, cultural, historical, educational, promotional, and informational purposes. Cultural traditions, legends, mythology, history, translations, transliterations, and pronunciations may have multiple versions, sources, interpretations, or spellings. Nothing on the Site constitutes individualized legal, medical, financial, tax, or other professional advice.
The Site may link to independently operated websites and services, including retailers, distributors, libraries, review platforms, award organizations, event providers, and social-media services. First Point Press does not control their content, availability, privacy practices, security, accessibility, or terms.
